My journey into the world of wedding and family photography started unexpectedly with a janky DSLR from Costco and my kids as my muses. My life as a new mother and wife felt so perfect that I didn’t want any moments to slip away. I realized quickly that I had a talent for capturing those raw, real, sentimental moments in life, and so did the people in my circle. Before I knew it, I had become the unofficial go-to photographer whenever my friends and family members got engaged, married, or wanted to get some sweet snapshots of their family to cherish forever.
I didn’t make it official until after I had my second babe and I came to the realization that the 9-5 life just wasn’t meant for me. At that point, I would have done just about anything for the chance to spend more time with my kids. For me, photography is just as much a way to spend quality time with my fam as it is getting fully immersed in the lives and loves of my clients. I can shoot an engagement session with the sweetest couple ever and still make it to my kid’s soccer game or wrestling practice? Sign me the heck up.

In case you couldn’t tell, my family means the world to me. The clients that I mesh with feel the same way about theirs. I want us both to have a mutual understanding that life happens and we have to just take things as they come. We can help each other through.
